This Renaissance-style building was ordered to be built by Cardinal Íñigo López de Mendoza y Zúñiga. It was founded in 1579 as Colegio de San Nicolás, it was destined to the education of the poor children of the city. It stands out for its main façade, in which we can see the Velasco and Mendoza coats of arms. Since 1957 it has been the I.E.S. Cardinal López de Mendoza. 🗺 How to get there?
