Burgos city walls

The Burgos wall is a military fence that surrounds part of the historic center of the city. Its current structure dates back to the late Middle Ages. Since the 18th century it began to be progressively demolished at certain points, but several important sections and gates have been preserved, as well as some isolated towers and canvases. 💡Curiosities The development of the wall is inherent to that of the city of Burgos itself. Its evolution can be divided into several moments: the first fences between the 10th and 13th centuries, the construction of the current wall between the 13th and 14th centuries and its subsequent evolution in successive centuries. 🗺 How to get there?
