Bottles, Labels, Glasses, Decanters, Pourers, Thermometers, Corkscrews, Books, Wine Cellars, Architecture, Prototypes, Covers, Bottle racks; the highlights of the design of the wine universe in a pioneering and unique space in Burgos, specifically on the first floor of CITUR, called WINE DESIGN SPACE, an expression that marks its desire to internationalise and attract more and more travellers interested in wine tourism. The WDS, its acronym, aims to establish a connection with the best designers, winemakers and gourmets by showing their work annually in a permanent exhibition open to the general public. A space created to promote and enhance the Burgos Creative City of Gastronomy brand and to develop and present activities related to wine and gourmet. 💡Curiosities In this coquettish space in CITUR you can see some pieces that have made history in the avant-garde of wine design. For example, the exclusive blown glass 'Regina' designed for the Danish royal family as an anniversary gift for the Silver Jubilee of the monarchs in 1992. Or the legendary two-coloured 'Sukat' glasses or those of the brilliant Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala, such as the one inspired by the melting ice in Lapland.
