In the old Calle Real, on the Camino de Santiago, some of the most interesting buildings of the Renaissance Burgos were erected, reflecting the prosperity of important mercantile and noble lineages. A singular example of them are the so-called Casa del Cubo, as it is topped by two small circular cubes on beautiful corbels, and the Casa de los Lerma, located next to it.
